Alain-Dominique Gallizia, Architect D.P.L.G

photo

born in Neuilly-sur-Seine, from an old Piedmontese family,

trained in Medicine, Mathematics and Fine Arts,

Alain-Dominique Gallizia graduated from the École Nationale d’Architecture (UP7-Paris), specializing in historic city-centre urban planning.

Trained at GEA, an agency where projects are drawn by hand, and at SAE, a construction and public works company,

he founded his own practice in 1985 and completed his first building in Paris, at 31 rue Daru.

His strong personality and the diversity of his training ensure the variety and originality of his projects, both individual and collective.

He signs, by hand and with sketches made on site, apartments, houses and buildings with the same aesthetic concern, grounded in an original idea and practical detail.

Bespoke creations are handled directly by him and his close team, from design through to execution, as close as possible to the tastes expressed by the client.

Function, form and colour are born with and for the client, whose happiness in living there is the sole criterion of the project’s success.

He received the award for best renovation for the lofts at 68-70 rue Amelot in Paris.

He also optimizes the projects of public or private clients seeking to improve the quality and performance of their projects.

His taste for the street and for colour leads him to champion canvas Graffiti, whose works he regularly exhibits in French and foreign museums.
